NanoEngineering Student, Fernando Soto Selected to Receive Gordon Fellow

NanoEngineering, Ph.D. student, Fernando Soto (Laboratory for Nanobioelectronics), has been selected to receive the Gordon Fellow for the Jacobs School of Engineering - the Bernard and Sophia Gordon Engineering Leadership Center, UC San Diego. Fernando was selected through a competitive process which determined that his engineering leadership experience exemplifies the goals of the Gordon Center. The Gordon Center Advisory Board, composed of engineering leaders from diverse backgrounds, reviewed all submitted packets and determined that Fernando has demonstrated the vision of the center. The vision of the Gordon Center is to educate and train a network of effective engineering leaders who create new products and jobs that benefit society.

As a Gordon Fellow, Fernando will receive a Gordon leadership medallion and monetary award, as well as gain access to the Gordon Alumni Network, Gordon SEALs (Successful Engineers, Alumni and Leaders).
