Nanoengineering professor, Dr. Jian Luo, is receiving the 2019 Brimacombe Medalist Mid-career Award by TMS (The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society). This award recognizes excellence and achievement in business, technology, education, public policy or science in materials science and engineering.
In advance of the Brimacombe Medalist Mid-career Award, Nature Communications has also decided to include Dr. Jian Luo in their themed collection that showcases material science and metallurgy content published in their journal over the past year. They will be featuring Dr. Luo's publication entitled "Role of disordered bipolar complexions on the sulfur embrittlement of nickel general gran boundaries."
